Cookie Policy
This site does not set cookies. Not for analytics, not for advertising, not for tracking. This page exists to say that plainly, to explain the few things your own browser does store locally, and to point you to how our cookieless analytics work and how to opt out.
No cookies for reading
Reading this site requires no account and no login, and ordinary browsing sets no cookies of any kind. We do not deploy cookies or similar technologies that follow you between sites or build a profile of your behaviour, and we do not permit advertising networks to do so through our pages.
If any strictly necessary technical storage were ever required for a core function to work, it would be limited to that function and would not be used to track you.
Cookieless analytics and how to opt out
We measure how the site is used with privacy-first, cookieless analytics: no cookies, no persistent identifier, and network addresses are anonymised before storage. The resulting statistics are aggregate and are never linked to your identity.
We honour the Do Not Track (DNT) and Global Privacy Control (GPC) signals. If either signal is present, no analytics run at all for your visit — enabling one of these in your browser or an extension opts you out entirely, with no setting to find on our site. The full details are in our Privacy Policy.
Local browser storage
A few reader conveniences — such as saved reading-list items and your display-theme preference — are stored only in your own browser, on your own device, using local browser storage. That information is never transmitted to us, and clearing your browser storage removes it; we hold no copy.
Third-party content
When a story links out to, or your browser loads media directly from, an original publisher, that publisher’s own technologies are governed by its own cookie and privacy policies, not ours. We encourage you to read the policies of any site you visit through our links.
