The Supreme Court on Tuesday declined to stop the execution of a Tennessee inmate who was convicted in the 1995 murder of a teenage classmate, clearing the way for the state's first execution of a woman in 200 years. Christa Pike, 50, is scheduled to be executed by lethal injection at 10 a.m.
